Let's Make A Song! Kids Hip-Hop Workshop with Kosmic T

Join Kosmic T on a magical adventure into the world of hip-hop, rhythm, and music. Whether your child has previous music experience or is brand-new to musical explorations, together we will learn what it takes to go from a blank slate to a fully completed, 100% unique hip-hop song from scratch!

Kosmic T (Tanin Shunter) is a conscious hip-hop artist and outdoor youth educator who has lived in the Kootenays for over 30 years. He has been offering music workshops in the Columbia Basin area for the last nine years, running his own outdoor nature program, and founding Kootenay Rites of Passage.

He is honoured and stoked to support the youth in discovering more of their voices, talents, and gifts through his hip-hop music sessions and is continually blown away by the creativity, wisdom, intelligence, and heart of the children he works with!

A special thanks to Selkirk College (Trail) for being willing to host this program, the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance, and the West Kootenay Arts Council for supporting this event in Trail.
