My background is in biology (and treeplanting!) prior to nursing. Most of my nursing experience is in ICU but have also worked in medicine, surgery, and pediatrics. I have worked on the Coast and in the Yukon before moving to the West Kootenays in 2008. I completed my Master of Nursing with a focus in teaching and have an interest in mentorship and helping students overcome anxieties and be comfortable in sharing knowledge with others. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, unicycling, growing my own food and being outdoors and with family.
