RN, BScN
Instructor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing
I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 through the University of Victoria in partnership with Selkirk College in Castlegar, BC. I have practiced as a registered nurse at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC, in various acute care capacities such as patient care coordinator and clinical practice educator.
In 2019, I joined the Selkirk College nursing faculty, where I have had the pleasure of working with students and supporting their learning by facilitating theory courses, instructing hands-on practice in the nursing skills lab, and supporting students in clinical practicums. It is a humbling experience to return as an instructor to the institution in which I began my educational journey and professional career. I have recently become a student again as I am currently completing a Master's in Education through UBC. I am passionate about education, and I am excited and honored to be a part of the Selkirk College BSN student’s learning journey.
