This series of workshops is designed to help build the knowledge and capacity of non-profit organizations in the Columbia Basin. It is brought to you by Columbia Basin Trust in partnership with Selkirk College.

Fee

There is a nominal fee of $10 +GST to attend each workshop. Pre-registration is required as only registered participants will be admitted into the course.

Who should attend? Board members, staff and volunteers of non-profit organizations located within the Columbia Basin Trust region.

A career working with and for non profit societies has given Lynda Lafleur many opportunities to pursue funding. But the 16 years working For Columbia Basin Trust (the Trust) from the Nakusp office put her on the receiving end of those funding applications. Lynda has also gained experience adjudicating grant applications for provincial and federal programs and likes to share what she's learned.

Frank Marino has over 25 years of HR experience, mainly in Health Care, both in the public and private sectors. Frank offers practical knowledge in all aspects of Human Resources and Administration. His style is to collaborate with a focus on strategic and operational priorities. Growing and investing in team capacity is one of Frank's priorities. He most enjoys mentoring managers to become better leaders. In recent years, Frank has provided HR Consulting services to small and medium-sized organizations, from Strategic Planning, Board Development, and Conflict Resolution.
