Forest Worker Essentials Training Program

The Forest Worker Essentials (FWE) training program provides new forestry workers with the entry-level knowledge and skills required to work safely, productively and sustainably in the forest industry in British Columbia.

Program Format

• Delivered over seven weeks, the FWE training program includes both classroom and on-site training to prepare you for work in the forest industry.
• This program qualifies for the StrongerBC Future Skills Grant. You could be eligible for up to $3,500 toward tuition. Find out if you're eligible and apply for the grant.
