The Gathering Place is a special place for students to connect with each other, and for the college community to celebrate and learn about First Nations, Métis and Inuit cultures, traditions and ceremonies.
Indigenous Classroom
Students from diverse cultural backgrounds are welcome in the Indigenous Classroom to join together in dialogue, knowledge and understanding. The circular configuration inspires interconnected learning.
Indigenous Arbour
Castlegar Campus
The Gathering Place Arbour near the Mir Centre on the Castlegar Campus is a ceremonial and gathering structure. Built in partnership with School District 20, it is available for Indigenous events and student events, and as a public space.

Tenth Street Campus
The Tenth Street Indigenous Gathering Space is a place for Indigenous Peoples to engage in ceremony and traditional practice and for students and community to learn, witness and partake in advancing truth and reconciliation.
