Selkirk College Bursaries
Apply for a range of Selkirk College bursaries with one simple form. Bursary applications are open from September 15–October 31.
Eligibility
To qualify for a Selkirk College bursary, you must:
- Be a Canadian or international student.
- Be enrolled in both fall and winter terms of a post-secondary semester program or a post-secondary trades foundation/apprenticeship program and maintain a minimum 60% course load. If you have a documented disability, you must maintain a minimum 40% course load and be registered with Accessibility Services.
- Have a minimum grade point average of 2.0.
- Have entered a social insurance number (SIN) onto your Selkirk College student record. The Canada Revenue Agency requires Selkirk College to collect SINs for all award recipients for the purpose of issuing T4As for income tax purposes. If you have not provided your SIN to the college, we will be unable to release your bursary.
Application process
- Fill out an application between September 15 and October 31.
- Award recipients will be notified by email in mid-December.
- Students will have an opportunity to accept or decline a bursary. Students who accept will be asked to write a letter of thanks.
- Award winners will be invited to the Bursary Tea in February to meet their donors and collect their funds.

CICan Paul and Gerri Charette Bursary Program
This program aims to provide financial support to students who demonstrate financial need and who often face greater challenges and barriers to participate in and complete post-secondary education with ten bursaries of up to $5,000 each.
