This two-day course provides comprehensive first aid and CPR A techniques for emergency response in the workplace or for those seeking to enhance their knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. The course covers first aid procedures for adult patients and include cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, prevention of disease transmission, and more severe sudden medical injuries to the head and spine in adults. Students will also learn to use an automated external defibrillator.
NOTE: Red Cross Standard First Aid courses are recognized by WorkSafeBC as equivalent to WorkSafeBC Intermediate First Aid.
