Begin your online course any day with 30 days to complete. Cover key safe food handling information including the cause of foodborne illness, receiving and storing food, serving food and cleaning/sanitizing. Certificate is valid for 5 years and is not eligible for a recertification course.
NOTE: In response to COVID-19, our in-person invigilation services may be suspended. Online proctoring is now available for this course. When it coes time to complete the exam, students will have the option to examine online.
Students must have a webcam, microphone and a quiet, uninterrupted space for up to an hour to be able to e-proctor by observation. Students will have up to 4 tries withouth additional charges.
**Please be advised that using mobile devices such as smartphones during the final food safety exam will be interpreted by the electronic proctoring system as a violation of rules (use of outside source of information) and will result in an instant fail. Students should turn their phone off, and preferably put it in another room, before beginning the exam. No access to any outside source of information is permitted. This includes browsing to another website during the exam, and even to looking to books or papers that are nearby. The student must remain in the webcam field of view throughout the exam.**
