Practicum Placements
Eligible students will have flights, accommodations, meals and other expenses covered in addition to a $300–$500 honorarium.
Eligibility is based on your current program and year, along with a variety of other eligibility requirements. Special consideration will be given to students with disabilities, are low income and who self-identify as Indigenous.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be registered as a full-time student at Selkirk College or the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology.

Must submit proof of Canadian citizenship.

Must maintain satisfactory practice evaluations.

Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.3 or higher.
Students who are interested must submit an official application and may be asked to participate in an interview.
Many students face barriers when it comes to studying abroad or participating in international academic experiences. One of the goals of this project is to help students overcome those barriers. Special consideration will be given to students with disabilities, of low income and who self-identify as Indigenous.
