GEOG 232: Geomorphology: Our Changing Planet is the study of the Earth's surface. In this lecture and laboratory science course, students will learn to recognize and describe the formation of common landforms. We will examine the physical processes that drive landscape evolution with application to mountains, rivers, coasts, deserts and glaciated terrain. An exploration of natural and anthropogenic causes of climate change and the effects of climate change on the Earth’s surface will form an important component of this course.
