My first job in biology was working in a microbiology lab...mostly washing test tubes, but also learning a lot! Since then, I've studied knapweed, frogs and toads, insects, bacteria, and bacteria that live inside insects. After finishing my Master's I moved to Nelson to work in a wildlife genetics lab, where I analyzed DNA from bears, wolverine, wolves and fisher, among others. I'm truly honored to be working at Selkirk College, and hope I can show others how cool science and math can be!
