After High School
Emma graduated from Mount Baker Secondary School in Cranbrook in 2017:
"I didn't know what to do after high school other than the fact that I wanted a job that I enjoy and has a decent pay. I found the IEP Program and it presented me with various opportunities for career paths."
"Selkirk College has all the great things about a smaller school such as small classes and instructors that really want you to succeed in your classes."
After Selkirk College
After spending two summers as an Aquatic Technician, Emma went on to attend the British Columbia Institute of Technology in the Ecological Restoration Program.
"Selkirk College helped me secure a job as an Aquatic Technician through its intensive field labs and classes designated to technician work."
"As I work toward my Registered Professional Biologist designation, I am pleased with my experience at Selkirk. It has given me a head start with field work, project organization, and how to write a proper plan."
