Bursary Tea

On February 4, 2023, we welcomed students, donors, parents, families and staff to Bursary Tea to gather and celebrate the importance of reducing barriers to education. The afternoon includes a fabulous lunch prepared by the Selkirk College Professional Cook Training students and served by the Resort & Hotel Management Program students.

A Supportive Community

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Selkirk College and the Selkirk College Foundation is able to provide inspiring post-secondary education to those who may otherwise be discouraged by the financial burden. Together, we believe that education should be accessible to all–cost should not be a barrier.

Thank you!

In the 2022/23 academic year, more than 220 students received over $230,000 in bursaries. Donors are changing lives and preparing students to become active citizens in our communities.

Here are just a few of the thank you notes written by Selkirk College students who received a bursary and highlight the impact you make across our region.
